Quality ultrasound imaging is operator dependent. It is recommended that the sonography skills of the medical professional be evaluated annually. This training option is for those who were certified by Sonography Now more than one year prior, or who have never had their skills certified. Each medical professional will be evaluated on skill and image optimization. Annual certification of skills is provided upon successful completion of the competency exam. CA State Board of Nursing-7 hours.
